Hiroshi Ishikawa Bio:
Professor Hiroshi Ishikawa is a distinguished co-founder of N-hega Technology and a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Waseda University in Japan. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics from Kyoto University, followed by a Ph.D. in Computer Science from New York University.
A recognized leader in his field, Professor Ishikawa has received numerous accolades, including the 75th IEICE Best Paper Award, the Innovative Technologies 2016 Special Award for Culture, the IEEE Computer Society Japan Chapter Young Author Award (2006), and the MIRU Nagao Award (2009).
He serves on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Computer Vision and has held key roles in prestigious conferences, such as General Chair for the IAPR International Conference on Machine Vision Applications (2015, 2017), Conference Co-Chair for Computer Graphics International (2019), and Program Chair for the Asian Conference on Computer Vision (2020). Additionally, he has contributed as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence and as an Area Chair for leading conferences like CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, and ACCV.
